Brain Boosters Program
Memory Matters offers an exciting program for people experiencing Early Memory Loss called “Brain Boosters.” Those with Early Memory Loss want to know what is causing their memory loss, and what can be done to minimize this loss. They want to be pro-active and “do” something about their memory loss. They want to benefit from a stimulating and positive environment; they want and need activities that are different than those offered in a more advanced dementia program. They can learn new information; they are aware of the changes in their memory. And they desire a safe environment, separate from family, where they can share their feelings and fears. The benefits of “Brain Boosters” are enormous and can improve long-term quality of life.
This weekly program stimulates the senses, offers memory re-training exercises, strengthens brain functions, enhances abstract thinking, and establishes a support system.
Don’t let early memory loss or changes in your memory stop you from enjoying every day of your life. Life is too short! Take positive steps to obtain practical tools to help with these changes.

Caregiver Resources
Memory Matters offers bi-weekly support groups for caregivers in a confidential, compassionate venue. Our support groups are a safe place to share heartache, grief, frustrations, common experiences and resources. They are a wonderful way for caregivers to network, share tips and offer validation.
Memory Matters also provides respite and support to caregivers by offering daycare programs for their loved ones, family meetings, resources and referrals, information and education. We also offer a free lending library.
